We've all had that morning. Nothing fits right, everything feels off, and you're standing in front of a full wardrobe feeling like you have nothing to wear.

It's rarely actually about the clothes.

After years of experimenting, I've narrowed it down to five pieces that reliably bring me back to myself — no matter what kind of week it's been.

1. The oversized linen shirt

Relaxed but intentional. Throw it over anything and suddenly you look like you have a whole aesthetic.

2. Wide-leg trousers in a neutral

The silhouette does the work. Oatmeal, slate, chocolate — pick one and wear it everywhere.

3. A structured tote

When everything else is soft, one sharp-edged accessory pulls it together instantly.

4. A scent you've worn for years

This is the wellness part: smell is the fastest path back to feeling like yourself. Wear your signature one.

5. Something with color — just one thing

A scarf, a lip color, a bag. You don't need a full color moment, just a signal that you showed up for yourself today.

This week's ritual

Sunday reset: spend 10 minutes laying out three outfits for the week. Decision fatigue is real — future you will be grateful.

What's your non-negotiable "feel like myself" piece? Hit reply — I read every one.

Until next week,
